Your medical history and/or symptoms show some possible risk of vascular disease. 97% of all vascular disease is reversible. We are now conducting non-invasive, painless tests that can assess your vascular health, as well as help your care team to treat your pain issues in the most optimal way.

Quick, Painless, & Insightful Vascular Assessments

VSD Testing is a series of three very simple tests done in the office. None of them hurt and their results will help your healthcare professional understand how healthy your heart and nervous system are, and how your pain may be affecting your heart. The testing will take about 30 minutes and results will be reviewed by your provider generally on your next office visit.

  • There may be any stiffening or atherosclerosis of the arteries. Healthy arteries are more elastic to allow optimal blood flow and enable healing.

  • Your heart is beating as it should.

  • Your nervous system is balanced.

  • You may be experiencing early or developing neuropathies, including neuropathies related to pain.

  • Your chronic pain may be affecting your heart.

  • You may benefit from seeing a cardiovascular expert or other specialist.

No Caffeine

Try not to consume caffeine at least 2 hours before the test (coffee, tea, chocolate).

No Smoking

Try not to smoke for at least 2 hours before the test.

Shoes & Socks

You will need to take your shoes and socks off for the test.

Comfortable Clothing

A loose fitting top or shirt will be most comfortable.

Relaxed Environment

Testing is done in a very relaxed setting and does not hurt.
